You must make a personal commitment to complete and adhere to the training program as written. Develop a written pledge prior to starting Air Alert® stating a promise to yourself that you will not give up on this workout and that you will do it and succeed. Without your commitment, failure is evident.
Some people have a tendency to rely on workout partners or other variables for motivation and support. The more support you can get during your workouts, whether it’s from friends or from music or a nice, sunny day, the better. Peer interaction and support is an excellent way to build motivation. Music keeps you motivated. And surely a pleasant, sunny day is more enjoyable to work out in than a cold, rainy one. But what happens if your friend misses a workout or the CD or tape you listen too is broken or it is raining? Do you lose a day by not working out when scheduled? What if these things happen for 5 consecutive days? Do you miss a whole week’s workout and lose ground? No, you must rely on yourself and stay dedicated. Your commitment must be 100%, otherwise you may not reach the goals you have set for yourself.
