Step 1: Warming Up
First, you must warm up your body. This can be done simply by jogging in place or doing jumping jacks for about 3 to 5 minutes.
Warming up increases blood circulation and loosens up your muscles, which will prevent any muscle pulls or strains when training.
Do not neglect this important step. Many athletes are eager to begin their training and sometimes omit this step. By doing this, you run the rise of pulling or straining a muscle leading to injury.
